Erki Uustalu, LLM (Leiden University, Program in International Taxation) is teaching international and European tax law at Tartu University (Estonia) and is Of Counsel to the PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he advises on international corporate structuring.
He started his career as a program coordinator for the International Tax Center Leiden and was a researcher at the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD) in Amsterdam.
In 2003-2004 he served as a case-officer at the European Commission, Competition Directorate-General, within state-aid Unit. In 2004, he was appointed as a Councilor to the Estonian Ministry of Finance in tax and gambling policy matters, where he served until joining PwC in May 2007.
Erki belongs to the Economic Council of the Secretary General of the Estonian Ministry of Finance and to the General Council of the International Fiscal Association.
