Avv. Giovanni Mameli, Ph.D

The site was imagined and founded by Giovanni Mameli, an attorney at Fantozzi & Associati in Rome where he assists public and private sector clients, a part from the core activities of the firm (Italian and International taxation) on all matters concerning State aid.

Dr. Mameli graduated at the Luiss University in Rome, and then earned a Ph.D in European Tax Law with a thesis on The Coherence principle in EU Law - The clash between State Aid rules, Fiscal Sovereignity of the Member States and the Econmic freedoms awarded by the European School of Advanced Fiscal Studies of the University of Bologna.

Dr. Mameli is the coordinator of the School's Observatory on Fiscal State Aid.
